These are really large-growing begonias. They can reach 24" or more inches tall with a spread of 20". Large, glossy, tropical-looking leaves. Good in containers and beds in shade or part-sun. Begonias are more drought tolerant than most other shade annuals. Soil should dry a little between waterings. (Excessively soggy soil can result in root or stem rot.) Few annuals are easier to grow than begonias, no deadheading required.
We love these big begonias for containers and beds in shaded areas. They really make an impact as the season progresses, getting more showy as they grow larger. They flower as season with little care.
