Also known as Basket of Gold. Clusters of bright yellow flowers rise above silvery green foliage. Flowers in spring and early summer. Nice perennial for rock gardens and borders. Tumbles over rocks, slopes, and banks. Tolerates poor soil, heat, and drought (once established). Needs good drainage. Allow soil to dry between thorough waterings. Trim back lightly after flowering. Grows about 10" tall. Full sun.
This plant looks diminutive in its pot, but in the garden it spreads up to 18" wide and can be very showy when in bloom. For best effect, combine it with other spreading perennials or annuals.
